Buying / Selling Bitcoin
So you want to invest more bitcoin into your mining, trades,
faucets or list-building. There are several programs that allow you to buy,
sell and exchange bitcoins for local fiat currency as well as altcoins (we'll
discuss these another day).
Today, we will discuss three things: where to buy / sell at
the best value, when to buy at the best value and when to sell at the best
value.
1. Where to Buy / Sell Bitcoins:
Best Value: Coinbase.com
- Buy BTC at 1% over market value
- Instant transfer if you verify your bank
- Get a wallet and a vault
- Send/Receive BTC with address or email
2. When to Buy Bitcoins:
Best Time: When market value is low
- Watch the market price as it fluctuates
- You get more BTC for less
3. When to Sell Bitcoins:
Best Time: When market value is high
- Wait for a price spike or high point
- Get more money for less BTC
Exchanging BTC
Optionally, you can exchange your bitcoins on the market,
for either local currencies or for altcoins. I prefer to exchange them for
altcoins or visa verse because BTC is currently the most valuable. Each
cryptocurrency has its own market value, mostly based on the current value in
BTC. There are plenty of people and plenty of altcoins out there. With
exchanges, you have a large target audience looking to buy or sell. This is a
nice way to earn more for less. The following are cryptocurrency exchanges I
use, mostly to convert altcoins to BTC:
